W. Ratcliffe joined the Royal Flying Corps on the 13th of June 1916, he was promoted Air Mechanic 1 on the 1st of January 1917 at the rate of 4/‑ per day. He transferred to the RAF on the 1st of April 1918. Sold with copy RAF service details and copy London Gazette page.
