Recommendation, ‘Honours for services in Auxiliary patrol between 1 July and 11 November 1918’.

The hired trawler King’s Grey (Admiralty No.1628) was parented by H.M.S. Attentive III as part of the Dover Patrol throughout the war. She was in collision with H.M. Armed Trawler St Maurice and collier Eltham in Dover Harbour on 23 July 1916, her skipper, John Rae, was later court-martialled. the number of the British War Medal officially corrected
