Fred Price, I think lived in Canada as his papers indicate and he came to the UK and enlisted 16.5 1917. He lived with his wife Emma at 22 Lower Cambridge Street, Loughborough. Embarked Southampton 20.4.1917 and disembarked Havre 21.6.1917. 1035 M.T. Coy Italy. 3.4.1918 invalided to England. 28.1.1919 dispersal area, transferred to Class Z
24.2.1919 correspondence regarding Fred applying for transportation to Galt, Ontario. He was offered a date, but he refused it. I wonder if ‘Emma’ was the mother of G. Price of G.S.M. Palestine and that she was expecting. Sergeant G. Price served with Palestine Police 26.6.1944 – 12.9.1947. A nice story and a nice family group.
