Private J. P. Farley, is confirmed on the roll, entitlement to a 2-clasp K.S.A. He also served with the Central South African Railways, as noted on the Q.S.A. Medal Roll. Private Farley was not confirmed as a casualty or a P.O.W. But it must have been a gruesome fight over several days and to various towns.
