Description
He received the Navarino clasp to the Naval General Service medal, for service with HMS Albion as a Landsman over the relevant period.
Sold with a copy of his certificate of service which covers Laskey from his entry into the Albion as a Landsman in Jun 1825 until he was invalided to Plymouth Hospital in Feb 1838, then rated as an Able Seaman. TNA: ADM29 series. He is shown as present on board the Albion for the period of Navarino in Oct 1827. HMS Albion took 60 casualties at the battle of Navarino.
