Description
The 93rd suffered heavy casualties at the siege and capture of Lucknow in March 1858, they suffered 14 officers and men killed and over 60 wounded. Similarly at the Relief of Lucknow under Sir Colin Campbell in November 1857, 35 officers and men killed and 69 wounded.
