Wounded 27.6.1857 at the siege and assault of Delhi May -September 1857.
The musters show him as present through the Mutiny period. He enlisted between October 1843 and March 1844. The regimental discharge book shows him as invalided 1861/62 possibly April 1862. Dead on the medal roll, the casualty roll shows 5 officers and 79 men killed, 14 officers and 184 men wounded.
