Description
The 57th Rifles F.F. (Wilde’s Rifles) are recorded as having served on the North West Frontier in 1908 but not officially at Abor 1911-12 as a regiment or part so. I suspect Sepoy Ali Bahadur was attached as a signaller, telegraphist on accompanying an official from this regiment at Abor.
He died (or was killed) 28 October 1914 and is commemorated on the Ypres memorial. The son of Madat Khan,of Hun, Chakwal, Jhelum, Punjab.
