Two A. Andrews on the rolls one Andrew the other Archibald. Both served in the Indian Mutiny and took part in the Defence of Lucknow and later in the Persia campaign. Andrew Anderson number 2866 retired discharged 30.4.1859 and I suspect he probably rarely wore his medals. Archibald Andrews number 3388 carried on serving and wore and polished his medals every week, worn with pride.
