Description
Sans Pareil was an 80-gun 2nd rate ship, launched in 1851. In 1854 she was assigned to the Black Sea Fleet, and on 14 November she was driven ashore at Balaklava. In September 1855 she was used to transport mortars to the Baltic and following the end of the war she was used as a carrier for returning troops. The following year she was sent to China and took part in the Second China War where she was involved in the taking of Canton. She was sold for breaking up in March 1867.
