Description

John Worsfold was born in Chilworth, Guildford, in 1834, and witnessed extensive service overseas with the Royal Horse Artillery including postings to Malta, the Crimea and India. He was later discharged at Bangalore on 14 December 1875, having completed 21 years’ service. Awarded a Crimea Medal with clasp Sebastopol.
