Description
Private W. Robnatt served in the Second Afghan War with the 59th Foot, although his name has not, as yet, been located on the medal roll. He later served in the Egypt and Sudan Campaigns of 1882-1889 and received a medal (with clasp ‘Tel El Kebir’) while serving with the Army Hospital Corps. He was discharged from service on 20 June 1885 and spent some time at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
