Description
George Edward Fitzgerald enlisted at Stratford on the 22nd of January 1914, serving with the 4th Siege Battery, he is recorded as being wounded on the 11th of August 1917. Shortly afterwards he was transferred to the Labour Corps with number 396633 (19th September 1917). He was discharged on the 15th of April 1919 received Silver War badge LC/5018.
