Description
M.M London gazette 7.2.1919., Battle of Amiens’ 8th August to 6th September 1918. The 11th battalion were known as the ‘Stockbrokers’ battalion as most were recruited from the city of London.
He attested for the Royal Fusiliers at Hornsey, Middlesex, and served with the 10th Battalion during the Great War, being awarded the Military Medal. He was discharged on account of sickness on 10 December 1919 and was awarded a Silver War Badge.
