Description
M.M. London Gazette 19 March 1918, most likely for the battle of Lambrai.
He was born in Birmingham in 1897 and attested there for the Royal Field Artillery. He served during the Great War on the Western Front with ‘D’ (Howitzer) Battery, 269th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, and was awarded the Military Medal in March 1918. He was discharged 24.7.1919. He died in King’s Norton, Worcestershire, in 1923.
