For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. During recent operations he has commanded a detachment of the cable section and has displayed great initiative, successfully maintaining communication between divisions under very trying conditions, thanks to his energy and keenness.  George W. King came from Lechlade in Gloucestershire a small market town, this is his only entitlement.
