Description

Born Paddington, London and enlisted 28.4.1894 age 18 years, 3 months. Egypt Sudan 21.1.1897 to 30.10.1898. medal and clasp confirmed. Discharged from the reserve 27.4.1910 having served 16 years.

Re-joined 2.3.1912, B.E.F. 19.9.1914 to 6.2.1919. K.R.R.C. and then transferred to the Labour Corps 6.6.1918.

Awarded a Q.S.A. with 4 clasps and a 1914 Star Trio named to the 6th battalion (a 1914-15 according to his M.I.C.)  Sold with a thick file of research.
