Nurse Rosa Lawless joined 8.12.1899 No. 143 Princess Christian’s Army Nursing Service Reserve (created to provide a reserve pool of trained nurses to supplement the small permanent Army Nursing Service in military hospitals at home and abroad) She had trained at the Royal Dublin Hospital. Her final grade was Sister and with the research is a photocopy picture and write up on her and three others, Caldwell, Talbot and Mary A. Davis.
