Description
Harold Sanderson enlisted on 6th November 1915. He was originally numbered 4/4937 and re numbered 201757 on “D” company 14th platoon roll 1/4th Battalion on the 24th October 1916. He was posted wounded in the regiment magazine “The Snapper” in January 1917. And was awarded the Silver War Badge. He was discharged on the 9th March 1919. Aged 22. Born April 1897 in hull. 1901 census shows him living at 3 Nelson Square, Sculcotes.
